'Dragon Ball Super' Teases The 'Universal Survival' Arc's Ending

Dragon Ball Super is now in the final seven minutes of the Tournament of Power - but there's still a ways to go before we reach the end of the larger "Universal Survival" story arc. Back in the fall, some DBS spoiler leaks hinted at "Universal Survival" lasting well into the spring of 2018 - and now we may have a more solid date on when it could end:
That math above synchs up with our earlier report that the "Universal Survival" saga would wrap in the late March to early April window. With the Tournament of Power about to wrap in the next few weeks, that leaves limited room for an epilogue to the tournament that will run from February through March - with two scheduled breaks in that seven-to-eight-week span.

So what can happen in about half a dozen DBS episodes? Plenty. We've already broken down the biggest ways the Tournament of Power can end, and each of them set the stage for a bold new Dragon Ball status quo. With rumors of a series hiatus floating, the Tournament of Power's ending could be more crucial than ever, if it comes with a big twist that fans will have to sit with for awhile.
Dragon Ball Super's “Universal Survival” arc is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. DragonBall Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturday evenings at 7:15 p.m. CST. Adult Swim airs the English dub during its Toonami block Saturday evenings at 9:30 p.m, and is now available to stream on FunimationNOW and Amazon Video.
